Welcome to Community Service

We think volunteering or community service can cover a very broad area.  Although the real concept behind Community Service is for you to extend yourself and think about where you can be of help in your Community. It can be volunteering at a community organization or in your neighborhood or in your own home. The criteria for volunteering or doing community service is:

1. You are not getting paid for it
2. These activities are not scheduled or required chores - such as cleaning your room or washing the dishes.
3. You can only claim volunteer hours performed after your enrollment day.
4. Think beyond want it easy and look at your community to see where there is a need.
