Environmental Science Welcome to Environmental Science! My name is Cindy, and I will be your teacher for this course. Throughout this course we will be learning about the environment in which we live in and various components and issues that affect the quality of the environment. We will examine things that are harmful to the environment as well as look at ways that we can take better care of our environment. In each lesson, you will be provided with reading material relevant to the learning objectives for that lesson. You will need to utilize various resources as well as use your own ideas and opinions to complete the lesson assignments. To further enhance your knowledge and understanding of the course material, there will be lab experiments and research projects as part of the course requirements. You should look over these immediately so you know what to expect and give yourself plenty of time to complete the experiments and projects. The lab work will allow you to do some investigating on your own and formulate your own conclusions. You will have an opportunity to further research several areas of environmental science by completing four research projects and one final project.
