Hi, I am Ryan, your teacher for this course. Welcome to Introduction to Psychology.
This is a fascinating course that explores the mind, behavior, and why humans act the way they do. In this course, you will have the opportunity to learn the basics of psychological theories, about the founding contributors to the field psychology, and you might even learn a little more about yourself! I hope you enjoy this survey of psychology, and I hope it serves as proper foundation for future studies!
This is a one credit course. You may also complete first or second semester half-credits in this course. You may submit one lesson per day. Do not move more than two lessons ahead before a lesson is graded (so you should only be working on two lessons at any time). This will help to make sure that you do not have many revisions left to do at the end of the course.
The final lesson in this course is a project. You may want to take a look at it now, in case you want to read a book for the project (so you can start your reading early). There are also research and video watching options.
If you need help, ask for help. Be specific with your questions and what you don't understand. I will try a little harder to explain myself. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to contact me using the form at the bottom of the page.
