Marianne O'Doherty Marianne
is a licensed social worker. She is the guidance counselor for the Online
Secondary Program. Believing in the principles of simplicity she also owns a
professional organizing business, which helps people create order from chaos.
Her love of traditional music and dance brings her to teach Irish Ceili dancing
and organize dances in her community. Marianne is
CompuHigh's Registrar and
Guidance
Counselor.

Bob Sweeney Bob has a Ph. D. in Chemistry
from Caltech in Pasadena, CA. He teaches Chemistry part-time at Fairmont State
University, homeschools his two boys, and presents workshops in science, math,
and tie-dye. To further the availability of educational alternatives in West
Virginia, Bob also serves on the board of directors of the West Virginia Home
Education Association and Learning Options, Inc. In his free time, Bob reads
science, observes nature, and pursues sunshine. Bob is CompuHigh's
Educational Director.

Beth Weegar Beth has an M.A. in Special
Education from West Virginia University. She is the owner and administrator of
a dance studio/center for the arts in Clarksburg,WV. She enjoys hiking, yoga,
tennis, square dance, gardening and reading in her spare time. Beth is the

Cindy Proudfoot Cindy has a Masters Degree in Social Work from West Virginia
University. She works part-time as a counselor for a small company in Bridgeport, and enjoys spending her remaining time gardening
and playing the mandolin.

Lori Wilson Lori has an MA in Economics from Harvard
University, but currently works as a computer programmer, developing front-end
interfaces to relational databases. Current objects of her passion include her
children, her bicycle, raspberries and poetry. A published poet, she is a
member of and maintains the website for the Pittsburgh Poetry Exchange.

Roger Roskin Roger
has a Bachelor of Engineering degree from Stevens Institute of Technology and a
Masters of Business Administration from the University of North Dakota. Since
serving as an officer in the Air Force, Roger has been working for a contractor

Melissa Baker Melissa is currently a graduate student at West Virginia
University,
pursuing a master's degree in Public Health. She spent 6 years as a massage
therapist, worked as a project manager in a high tech firm, survived a winter
in Russia as an exchange student, interned with NASA, etc. She enjoys learning about natural ways to maintain health, a good summer
bonfire with friends, reading with her cats, and spending time outdoors with
her husband. Melissa teaches American History, Think About, Independent
Study

Lori Blosser Lori Blosser is a graduate of Fairmont State College with a B.A in
Secondary Education and holds a Masters Degree from UNC-Greensboro in
Library and Information Science. In the past, she has taught in public
schools for nine years. She now enjoys her family, hiking, traveling

Nicole Blosser Nicole has a bachelors in mathematics and a masters in
education from West Virginia University. She teaches math
at Fairmont Senior High School, and as an adjunct at
Fairmont State University. During her free time, she
volunteers with the local teen 4-H club and enjoys reading
and horseback riding. Nicole teaches

Angela Brammer Angela graduated summa cum laude from Fairmont State College
with a B.A. in English. During her time at FSC, she also studied education, speech, theatre, and library science. She
has been working as a legal assistant for nearly seven years. Angela lives with her husband, Matt, their three
teenage boys, and a couple dozen pets in Fairmont, West Virginia. She practices yoga to help maintain her sanity. Angela

Erin Donahoe Erin
Donahoe has a Juris Doctor from WVU College of Law as well as a B.A. in English,
and boasts minors in History, Classics, and Women's Studies. She is a writer and
an artist, and has been nominated for several poetry awards. Erin teaches Geometry and does course
development.

Dani Glaeser Dani has a BA
in English from Loyola College in Baltimore, MD. She is the editor and creator
of Embrace - an online webzine that encourages simplifying and enjoying life.
Her life's passion (aside from her poetry) is inspiring and helping others to
"Embrace Living" which she does through her webzine and general congenial
nature. Before moving to West Virginia, she was a technical writer and training
coordinator where she instructed courses for various computer programs. In her
spare time, you can find her hiking the trails, buried in a good book, and
writing, of course! Dani
teaches English Writing, English 12 and Career Planning.

Derwin Hampton Derwin
holds a BA in English from Fairmont State
University. I'll begin work on my masters in the fall of
2006 at WVU. My hobbies include reading Anglo-Saxon and Old
English literature, strolling through art museums and vegetable
gardening with my wife. I also love jazz and blues, and I make an
incredible
pot of gumbo.

Amber Kanner Amber has a BA in English (Nonfiction Writing) from George Mason
University, and will soon begin a Master's program in Library and Information
Science. She enjoys books, travel, and being outside. Amber teaches
ESL, English 9, and Web Design. She is also one of our substitute teachers. |

Ryan Kurczak
Ryan has a BS in Psychology and is a Licensed Massage Therapist. He has his
own practice providing CranioSacral, Massage Therapy and stress management
classes for those interested in health care through holistic means. He also
teaches Anatomy and Physiology and related classes for a local massage school. Ryan enjoys studying ancient cultures, hiking, singing, and playing guitar with
his wife and friends. Ryan teaches
English 10 and English 12, Anatomy and Stress Management.

Jackie Antulov Jackie
graduated from Fairmont State University with a B.A. in Theatre and Secondary
Education with specializations in English and Oral Communications. She is also employed with Allegheny Power
and serves as Choreographer for the North Marion High School Band and Dance
Team. In her spare time, Jackie works
and dances with the 5th Street Dance Company and choreographs for
local theatre productions.

Marcia Manley Marcia holds a degree in mathematics from WV Wesleyan
College and completed her mathematics teaching certification
requirements at Fairmont State University. She enjoyed a
20-year career in public utility corporate finance before
deciding to teach mathematics. Her interests include doing
community service work, biking on WV's rail trails, camping
and hiking, crafting and traveling.

Judy
Nutting Judy has an MA in Spanish from
Middlebury College. She studied in Madrid for two years and has a passion for
Spanish culture and language. Judy's hobbies include playing billiards, hiking,
yoga, tennis, reading, and exploring San Francisco where she has just recently
moved. Judy teaches Spanish
1and 2.

Ann Payne Ann holds MA degrees in Teaching (University of Pittsburgh) and Liberal
Studies in Art/Biology (West Virginia University). She taught high school
students for many years at The Mountain Institute and served as WV Coordinator
for the Foxfire Teacher Network. She currently teaches Botanical Drawing and
Painting at the Phipps Conservatory in Pittsburgh. She has studied art at the
Smithsonian Institution, the New York Botanic Garden and with Anne-Marie Evans,
head of Botanical Art, Chelsea Physic Garden, London. A member of the Guild of
Natural Science Illustrators and The American Society of Botanical Artist, Ann
has illustrated many publications. She is mother to four and enjoys three young
grandchildren. Ann teaches Fine

Jeff Pumphrey Jeff graduated
from Fairmont State with a degree in Chemistry and a minor in Physics
and Education. Jeff taught 6 years at Trinity Christian School.
Presently he is working at Mylan Pharmaceuticals as a chemist.

Sarah Pumphrey Sarah graduated
from Fairmont Ste with a degree in Mathematics education. Sarah
taught 3 years at Trinity Christian School, and then one year at
Garrett County, MD.

Dianne Sisler Dianne has an MA in education from West Virginia
University. She was a financial aid administrator for many years and specialized
in helping students obtain funds to pay for study abroad programs. She has also
worked as a substitute teacher and software trainer. She currently is an
administrative software support specialist for WV colleges. She lives on a farm
in the mountains east of Morgantown, WV with her husband and three
children. Residents include cows, pigs, chickens, turkeys, ferrets, rabbits, and
a horse. Besides animals, her hobbies include reading and knitting. Dianne
teaches Biology, Practical Math and Native American Literature. |

Mark Tinsley Mark works as a researcher at WVU investigating emergent behavior in

systems. He obtained his PhD from Leeds University England a number of
years back and has spent the intervening time pondering and pottering his way

Missy Weimer With an MA in
Community Health Education from WVU Missy lives in Morgantown, West Virginia,
with her husband. She works for an organization that serves persons with
disabilities doing recreation programming and instructing computer classes for
adults with disabilities. Missy also enjoys spending time with her Labrador
Retriever, Cosmo, who will be certified as a therapy dog and work with people
with disabilities. Personal interests include traveling, ballet, mountain
biking, kayaking, and other outdoor adventures. Missy is the proud mother of a
beautiful baby boy, Noah born March 5, 2004. Missy teaches American Gov't, Health, Fitness,
World
Geography and Earth Science.
